Description
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel/airport at your preferred time and begin your half-day tour with a visit to Eastern Luxor. Luxor Temple is a large ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile in present-day Luxor. It was built around 1400 BC. In Egyptian, it is known as ipet resyt, "the southern sanctuary."
Then visit the Karnak Temple complex, commonly known as Karnak, which comprises a vast mix of ruined temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor. Construction of the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom (c. 2000-1700 BC) and continued into the Ptolemaic period (305-30 BC). At the end of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel, airport, or train station.
